Dr Lauren Hofmann completed her training as an Obstetrician Gynaecologist in Sydney, where her experience deepened her commitment to supporting women through every stage of life. From guiding expectant mothers through pregnancy and ensuring safe deliveries, to addressing gynaecological issues and providing high-quality, evidence-based care, her mission is to ensure every woman's health needs are met with empathy and expertise.
She has a particular interest in the management of endometriosis, specializing in both ultrasound imaging and advanced surgical excision techniques. Dr Hofmann holds Australia's top qualification in advanced gynaecological laparoscopy, having completed an AGES Fellowship, followed by a robotics fellowship through the SWAPS San Advanced Gynaecology Robotics program. She also earned a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound to ensure her patients have access to expert sonologist scans for their obstetric and gynaecological needs.
Research
Dr Lauren Hofmann is currently completing a PhD through Macquarie University. She is developing a patient-led decision aid tool to help women with endometriosis decide upon their best treatment options.
