Profile
Dr Swann obtained MBBS (Hons) in 1978 from University of Sydney, and completed his Internship / Residency at Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards, followed by Registrar Training in Anaesthesia at Prince of Wales Hospital Group, Randwick NSW and Cardiff, Wales UK. He obtained FFARACS in 1986 and FANZCA in 1992. His current appointments are as a Visiting Anaesthetist at Sydney Adventist Hospital, Wahroonga and as a Simulation Instructor - SMSC, Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards and Sydney Adventist Hospital Simulation Centre.
Dr Swann's professional interests include Endoscopy, Orthopaedics, Day Surgery, Acute Pain Management, Airway Management, Human Factors in Crisis Management, and Education Using Simulation.
