Profile
Dr Blumenthal was a Senior Registrar at Westmead Hospital for 2 years, and has subsequently been in private practice since 1984. He continues to be active in the training of registrars on the training scheme, and is active in Obstetrics. Dr Blumenthal is an endoscopic surgeon. He is a discipline leader in O&G at Notre Dame University and an O&G examiner for the Royal Australasian College.
Research
Dr Blumenthal has a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery such as operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. He is a member of SWAPS (advanced pelvic surgery group). He has trained and is active in the management of abnormal cervical smears and colposcopy, and is still active in Obstetrics.
